Timothy Veith

Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer

As the chief lending officer at Bank of Georgetown’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., Timothy Veith oversees the bank’s commercial loan portfolio and supervises the lending team.

Mr. Veith has more than 30 years of management experience and was most recently with Branch Banking and Trust (BB&T) Company in Washington, D.C., as a senior vice president, regional banking manager and area executive. Previously, he worked as president and CEO of Equitable Bank in Wheaton, Md.  His background in commercial lending, shareholder relations, business development and strategic planning enables him to be a strong and experienced team leader.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from University of Maryland in College Park, Md. Mr. Veith also attended the Graduate School of Community Bank Management at University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
