Branch Manager, Georgetown Branch
As Vice President and Branch Manager of Bank of Georgetown’s founding branch in Georgetown, Nathan Winstead is responsible for establishing relationships with current and prospective customers, training employees and supervising daily branch operations.
Mr. Winstead began working with Bank of Georgetown as vice president and branch manager in 2008 and has five years of experience in banking and management consulting. He works to offer current and prospective customers with guidance and solutions that will aid them in achieving their financial goals.
Before joining the Bank of Georgetown team, Mr. Winstead was branch sales manager for American Bank in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he worked as a research associate and development officer for the National Academy of Public Administration, also in the District.
Mr. Winstead is an active member of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Board of Trade and the Washington Network Group. He also sits on the board and is a volunteer soccer coach for the Indiana University Alumni Association, Washington, D.C. chapter, and is an active “Big Brother” and mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization, National Capital Area.
Mr. Winstead earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
